We really do. We take your privacy very seriously.
WHAT WE DO
Our commitment to you
All calls we take will be anonymous and confidential.
Anonymous means
- That your phone number does not appear on our screens.
- That your call will not appear on your phone bill.
- That you don't have to provide us with your identification data if you don't want to.
Confidential means
- That the conversation will only be between you and us, no matter what you tell us. We are here to help you, not to share your secrets with others. No family member or professional will know what you are telling us if you don't want them to.
- You should know that, at the end of the call, the counsellor who has attended you will make a brief summary of the call, which will be saved in a file. This way, if you call us again, we will be able to access this file and know what you have told us, without you having to repeat everything again.
- If at any time you want to know what information we keep about your calls, make any changes, or simply have it blocked so that no one on the Phone team can access it, just tell us on your next call.
-
Really?
-
Are you going to tell on me?
No. Even if you've done something you don't like that you're worried about. You can trust us to protect your privacy.
-
But?
The only case where we will not be able to keep our commitment is if you are at risk…
-
Why?
Because it is illegal for us not to report such information to the authorities if your welfare or that of a third party is at risk.
